There is a 99% difference between a fan, and a fangirl. Let's take a look, shall we?
Let's say we're talking about Jeff the Killer.
Fan: Jeff the killer was a badass story.
Fangirl: OMG JEFFY MARRY ME! UR SO HAWT!11!
Yeah big difference.
Now I only call myself a fangirl when I'm reading a fanfiction and I do what others refer to as fangirling. But I don't go all psycho either.
So remember, there IS a difference.
